Black (or white) pudding and apple cake


300g of black or white pudding
2 large golden apples
1 large onion
150g flour
4 eggs
10 cl oil
20cl milk
1 packet baker's yeast
salt and pepper
a pinch of rosemary
a few poppy seeds


Preparation

Peel and slice the apples
Peel the onion and slice it finely and brown it in a saucepan with a little oil
When it becomes molten add the apple and let it colour
Sprinkle with rosemary and put to one side.

Remove the skin from the pudding, cut into small pieces and roll them in flour.
Break the eggs into a bowl and whisk them with some salt and pepper
Add the oil and milk then the flour and yeast
Add progressively the pudding

Pour half of this mixture into a cake dish, cover with the apples and cover with the rest of the mix
Sprinkle with poppy seeds and cook in an oven at 150°C for 40 min.
